K-Electric has requested an expansion of up to Rs. 1.26 per unit for a very long time under a month to month fuel cost change (FCAs) from April to July.

The Karachi-based power utility sought Rs. 0.55 per unit expansion in its essential tax under quarterly duty change (QTA) for the April-June 2021 period, and one more climb of Rs. 0.71 for July change.

During the meeting, KE asserted that rising heater oil and LNG costs put a weight of Rs. 2.40 billion on the organization.
