Govt to give Pakistani nationality to foreign investors

The government has decided to offer Pakistani nationality to foreign investors, to bring heavy investments from wealthy foreigners.

Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry in a tweet on Friday confirmed this plan.

Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said:

"The government has decided to allow a Permanent residency scheme for foreign nationals. This new policy allows foreigners to get permanent resident status in place of their investment in Pakistan."

Moreover, Fawad Chaudhry said:

"This decision is in line with the new National Security policy through which Pakistan declared GeoEconomics as the core of its National security ideology."
