The conference also determined to guarantee that all cameras in Islamabad are fully functional to reduce street crime and maintain law and order.

The conference agreed to provide extra financial and technical resources as well as support to the Islamabad Police and Frontier Constabulary to help them improve their operational capabilities.

It was agreed to bring the salaries and allowances of the Islamabad Police to the same level as those of the Punjab Police.

It agreed to give the Islamabad police a one-billion-rupee martyrs’ package immediately, bringing the Frontier Constabulary’s salary, allowances, and martyrs’ package on the level with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police.

Rana Sanaullah, speaking on the occasion, said it had been agreed to develop a coordination system between the police and the governments of the twin cities since the country could not be left to the mercy of criminals and gangs.
