Govt decides to expand rescue and relief efforts for Türkiye into a countrywide campaign

The government has made the decision to turn the current rescue and relief operations for Türkiye into a national campaign.

Government has decided to expand the ongoing rescue & relief efforts for Türkiye into a countrywide campaign. We will enlist the support of business community, religious scholars & educational institutions. Pakistan will continue to stand by Türkiye in this difficult hour.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated in a tweet on Thursday that we will seek the help of the business sector, religious leaders, and educational institutions. He declared that Pakistan would continue to support Turkey during this trying time.

According to Minister for Federal Education Rana Tanvir Hussain, a meeting has been called in accordance with the Prime Minister’s instructions to immediately organize all resources for aiding the relief efforts for Turkey and Syria.

He stated in a tweet that we are proud of our young generation and that students at schools and universities have begun making donations in response to the government’s request.

Another special aircraft has been sent to Syria with a humanitarian assistance package from Pakistan that includes winter tents and blankets.
