Govt allocates Rs6 billion for law division

The government has Approved over Rs6 billion –Rs6,027.351 million– in the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for the upcoming fiscal year to execute ten ongoing and seven new Law and Justice Division schemes, official documents revealed.

Funds amounting to Rs3,752.212 million have been reserved for ten ongoing schemes, out of which Rs4.500 million have been kept for the establishment of Federal Courts/Tribunals (Phase-II) and Rs118.199 million for construction of camp office for the Federal Shariat Court at Peshawar

Rs29.576 million have been set aside for the construction of the federal courts/tribunal complex at Islamabad Phase-1; Rs91.338 million for the construction of the federal court’s tribunal in Peshawar and Rs1337.259 million for construction of the Islamabad High Court (Revised-PC-1).

The government has allocated Rs2100 million for the construction of a new building for the Supreme Court Branch Registry in Karachi; Rs9.320 million for the establishment of Alternative Dispute Resolution centers in Islamabad and Rs8.730 million for the replacement of passenger lift at the SC Islamabad building.
