The Federal cabinet approved Rs.5 billion for Census 2022. It will help carry out the next general elections.
Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhary Fawad Hussain was briefing media regarding decisions taken in the federal cabinet. The federal cabinet met in Islamabad on Tuesday with Prime Minister Imran Khan in the chair.
Moreover, The government will reveal the results of the pilot survey under the Census. The government will reveal it by the end of April or at the start of May. Fawad Chaudhry also said The government will complete the whole process by the end of this year.
Furthermore, Minister Fawad Chaudhary said:
“Election Commission will start delimitation of constituencies for the next general elections, after results of census 2022”
