Regal Automobiles has introduced the SERES 3 Electric Vehicle (EV) in Pakistan, which is a big step in dealing with the increasing fuel costs and the shift towards electric cars in the country. The car comes in two options: Completely Knocked Down (CKD) and Completely Built Unit (CBU), offering different prices to attract a wide range of customers.

The CBU version is priced at Rs. 11,799,000, offering immediate availability for those willing to pay a higher cost. To secure a quick delivery within three months, a booking fee of Rs. 5,000,000 is required. On the other hand, the locally assembled version is priced at Rs. 9,599,000 with a booking fee of Rs. 3,000,000, targeting a more budget-conscious market and expected to be delivered in March 2024.

Test drives of the SERES 3 have provided insights into its performance and features. It is described as economical, quiet, and eco-friendly, with instant torque for an exciting driving experience. Accelerating to 100 km/h in just 9 seconds adds to its appeal. The impressive 400 km range under ideal conditions meets the growing demand for EVs with substantial mileage.

Home charging is convenient, as demonstrated by a test driver’s experience. With a fully charged 50 kWh battery, the car eliminates the need for external charging stations, especially beneficial for city dwellers. The launch date is uncertain, initially expected in mid-October, indicating possible delays or adjustments in the rollout schedule.
