In response to the Supreme Court’s historic verdict acknowledging the denial of a fair trial to Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Chairman of the People’s Party, Bilawal Bhutto, expressed satisfaction. He emphasized the significance of the decision and stated that they await the detailed verdict.
Bilawal Bhutto highlighted the correction of a historical injustice after 44 years and expressed hope for the country’s system to move in the right direction, fostering development and prosperity for Pakistan and its democracy.
Bilawal noted that the case raised concerns about justice for the common man and extended gratitude to those who championed the cause of the late Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
The Supreme Court’s opinion on the presidential reference concluded that Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, the founder of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), was not afforded a fair trial.
