Apple is preparing for a busy 2027 with two major iPhone launches. The first, the iPhone Air 2, is expected in March 2027 alongside the standard iPhone 18 and a budget-friendly iPhone 18e. This second-generation Air model may feature a larger battery, lighter design, a cooling system like the iPhone 17 Pro, and potentially a second rear camera for enhanced photography. Powered by a 2nm chip, the iPhone Air 2 promises faster performance and longer battery life, aiming to make the niche Air series more appealing to consumers.
Later in September, Apple will celebrate the iPhone’s 20th anniversary with a special edition model. Rumors suggest this anniversary device may feature a curved glass display and a front camera hidden beneath the screen, showcasing Apple’s experimental design and technological innovation.
These releases follow Apple’s 2026 fall lineup, which is expected to include the iPhone 18, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and a foldable iPhone. By combining traditional flagship devices with innovative models, Apple is aiming to satisfy both mainstream buyers and early adopters, marking two decades of the iPhone with technological milestones.
