Zimbabwean all-rounder Sikandar Raza Butt has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the number one all-rounder in the ICC ODI rankings, according to the latest update released on Wednesday. Raza’s consistent performances with both bat and ball have lifted him to the top, making him the first Zimbabwean cricketer in recent years to claim the number one spot in this category.
Afghanistan’s Azmatullah Omarzai followed closely, securing the second position in the ODI all-rounder rankings. On the batting side, Indian vice-captain Shubman Gill retained his dominance, holding the number one ranking in ODI batting. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s former captain Babar Azam continues to remain among the world’s elite, sitting at number three.
In the bowling rankings, South Africa’s experienced spinner Keshav Maharaj maintained the number one spot, while Pakistan’s young spinner Sufiyan Muqeem made notable progress by climbing to the 22nd position.
