Pakistan will participate in a T20I tri-nation series featuring Afghanistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), scheduled to be held from 29 August to 7 September 2025 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. This tournament will act as vital preparation for the upcoming ACC Men’s T20 Asia Cup, set to take place in the UAE from 9 to 28 September.

The tri-series aims to give all three participating teams ample match practice and an opportunity to acclimatize to local playing conditions before the regional championship. The tournament format ensures that each team plays the others twice, resulting in a minimum of four matches per team. The top two sides on the points table will contest the final on 7 September.

The opening clash of the series will be between Pakistan and Afghanistan on 29 August at 7 PM local time, marking the beginning of an exciting week of cricket action under the Sharjah lights.

Full Schedule (All matches at 7 PM local time):

  • 29 August: Afghanistan vs Pakistan
  • 30 August: UAE vs Pakistan
  • 1 September: UAE vs Afghanistan
  • 2 September: Pakistan vs Afghanistan
  • 4 September: Pakistan vs UAE
  • 5 September: Afghanistan vs UAE
  • 7 September: Final

This series is expected to sharpen competitive edges, test bench strength, and provide final tune-ups for the Asia Cup squads. All eyes will be on Pakistan as they look to dominate ahead of the continental tournament.
