Pakistan cricket team fined for slow over-rate in the third ODI against New Zealand, adding to the team's ongoing disciplinary concerns.

The Pakistan cricket team has been fined 5 percent of their match fee for a slow over-rate during their third One-Day International (ODI) against New Zealand. The penalty was confirmed by the International Cricket Council (ICC) after Pakistan fell one over behind the required pace during the match.

Captain Muhammad Rizwan acknowledged the team’s error and accepted full responsibility for the delay in completing their overs. This fine adds to the sanctions imposed on Pakistan in the first two ODIs of the series, where similar issues with over-rates had been noted.

Despite the fine, Pakistan’s performance in the ODI series has been far from satisfactory. The team has lost all three matches in the series, contributing to a disappointing tour after their 1-4 defeat in the T20 series.

The ongoing over-rate issues have raised concerns regarding Pakistan’s discipline and efficiency on the field. As they move forward, the team will need to address these concerns to avoid further penalties and improve their overall performance.
