Pakistan’s Total Voter Count Reaches 132.2 Million: ECP

The total number of registered voters in Pakistan has reached 132.2 million, according to updated data released by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). The report highlights the gender and regional distribution of voters across the country.

Out of the total electorate, 71.1 million are men, comprising 53.74% of registered voters, while 61.2 million are women, accounting for 46.26%.

Provincial Breakdown

  • Punjab leads with the highest number of voters at 75.3 million, including 41.2 million men and 35.1 million women.
  • Sindh follows with 27.7 million voters, of which 14.9 million are men and 12.7 million are women.
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has a voter base of 22.5 million, consisting of 12.2 million men and 10.2 million women.
  • Balochistan has 5.5 million registered voters, with 3.1 million men and 2.4 million women.

Federal Capital and Major Cities

Islamabad, the federal capital, has the smallest voter base with 1.15 million registered voters, including 605,031 men and 549,440 women.

Among the country’s major cities:

  • Karachi has 9.53 million registered voters.
  • Lahore accounts for 7.14 million voters.
  • Peshawar has 2.15 million voters.
  • Quetta reports 880,000 registered voters.

This updated voter data underscores the growing electorate across Pakistan as the country prepares for upcoming elections.
