Renowned Pakistani designer Faraz Manan has been named on the prestigious Business of Fashion (BoF) 500 list, recognizing the most influential figures in the global fashion industry. The annual list honors professionals across various sectors, including luxury brands, high-street fashion, media, technology, and sustainability.

Manan, who began his career in 2003, has become a leading designer in Pakistan’s fashion industry with his eponymous label. Over the years, his creations have been worn by Bollywood A-listers like Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Sridevi, Alia Bhatt, and Kiara Advani.

Expressing his gratitude, Manan posted on Instagram: “Honored and delighted to be part of The BoF 500: people shaping the global fashion industry.”

According to BoF, Manan is a prominent figure in Pakistan’s fashion scene and a “go-to designer for buyers of couture bridal and formal wear in the wider South Asian region.” His work is celebrated for its intricate embellishments, luxurious fabrics, and contemporary style.

In 2015, Manan became one of the first South Asian designers to open a boutique in Dubai. By 2024, his brand had garnered over a million followers on Instagram. His popularity with Bollywood elites has also helped bridge cultural ties between India and Pakistan, two nations often divided by political tensions.
