The Pakistan Meteorological Department has issued a new advisory forecasting monsoon rains across multiple regions of the country from today through July 15.

Starting with eastern Sindh and Balochistan, rainfall is expected today and tomorrow, including in Karachi and interior Sindh. From July 10 to 15, the monsoon is anticipated to advance into the upper and central regions, with significant rain expected in various Punjab districts and Islamabad. South Punjab could witness heavy rainfall from July 12 to 14.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, rain is predicted from July 11 to 15, while Balochistan may experience monsoon showers on July 8, 9, and 12. The advisory warns of possible landslides in northern areas due to heavy rainfall from July 12 to 14, urging residents to remain vigilant.

The Met Department continues to monitor the situation closely and will provide updates as necessary.

Meanwhile, Karachi residents are advised to stay vigilant as the city braces for potential rainfall today. Monsoon winds are expected to bring thunderstorms, with light rain anticipated to begin Monday evening.

Currently, Karachi is experiencing partly cloudy, hot, and humid weather, with temperatures at 32 degrees Celsius. Temperatures may reach a maximum of 37 degrees Celsius later in the day. Humidity levels are high at 70%, with west to east winds blowing at 15 km/h.

These hot and humid conditions are forecasted to persist over the next 24 hours.
