Pakistan’s largest rickshaw manufacturer company Sazgar announced to launch of a Chinese brand Haval in Pakistan. The company took initiative following the plans to launch Chinese automaker BAIC cars in Pakistan in 2021.
The company has a plan to launch 2.0 or 2000cc Haval H6 and 1500cc Turbo Jolion. Kia Sportage, Hyundai Tucson, Proton X70, DFSK Glory 580, and MG HS will struggle with the two five-seater crossover SUVs.
According to the details available on he company’s website, Haval is leading in the China’s SUV business and leaving behind the Hyundai and MG Motors.
After the assembly line completed, trial production is expected to start in April. According to the sources , the company will start selling locally assembled BAIC cars within next three months. Sazgar can produce 24000 cars per year.
