President Asif Ali Zardari bestowed the Nishan-i-Pakistan award upon Minister for Defence of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, during a Special Investiture ceremony held at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Saturday.
The event saw the presence of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, federal ministers, military dignitaries, and members of the diplomatic community.
The prestigious award was presented to Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud in recognition of his exemplary services to Pakistan and its people. His efforts in enhancing defense cooperation, strengthening bilateral ties, and contributing to peace initiatives in the region were acknowledged.
