In message from jail, Imran warns against misadventure of forming govt with ‘stolen votes’

Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), conveyed a message from jail through his family, expressing gratitude to the people of Pakistan for their overwhelming support, which resulted in a resounding two-thirds majority for PTI.

He lauded the efforts of PTI’s social media team and acknowledged the dedication of polling agents who braved harassment and threats to secure Form-45.

Emphasizing the importance of democracy and fairness in elections, Imran Khan cautioned against the formation of a government based on stolen votes, stating that such actions would not only disrespect citizens but also worsen the country’s economic situation.

Asserting PTI’s unwavering commitment to uphold the people’s will, Imran Khan instructed his party not to engage with any political entity that has obtained power through electoral malpractice, including PPP, PML-N, and MQM.
