Flight operations in Pakistan faced continued disruptions on Tuesday as heavy fog persisted in various parts of the country. Several flights, including those operated by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and Saudi Airlines, were canceled due to the challenging weather conditions.

According to a PIA spokesperson, the Saudi Airlines flight from Islamabad to Jeddah was canceled. Additionally, four flights from Islamabad to Quetta, namely PK-325, PK-326, ER-540, and ER-541, were also affected.

Several other PIA flights experienced cancellations, including PK-601 from Islamabad to Gilgit, PK-602, Islamabad to Abu Dhabi (PK-262), and Dubai (PK-233). The disruptions extended to flights such as Islamabad to Sharjah (PK-181), Al-Ain (PK-143), and Karachi to Islamabad (PK-6369 and PK-370).

Lahore also witnessed flight cancellations, affecting routes like Lahore to Quetta (PK-322, PK-323), Lahore to Karachi (PK-6313, ER-520, ER-525), Karachi to Quetta (PK-310, PK-311), and Multan flight PK-330, PK-331.

Further cancellations involved two PIA flights from Multan to Sharjah (PK-293, PK-294), ER-811 from Karachi to Jeddah, and flight PK-217 from Peshawar to Abu Dhabi.

The continuous heavy fog posed significant challenges to air travel across various regions, leading to inconvenience for passengers and operational adjustments for airlines.

Travelers were advised to stay updated on the status of their flights and make necessary arrangements in light of the weather-related disruptions. Authorities and airlines were working to manage the situation and ensure the safety and well-being of passengers during this period of adverse weather conditions.
