As the new year unfolds, Arton Capital, a global citizenship financial advisory firm, has released its latest passport index for the first quarter of 2024.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) emerges as the holder of the most influential passport, maintaining its supremacy with a mobility score of 180.
Individuals possessing a UAE passport enjoy visa-free travel to 130 countries and visa-on-arrival access to 50 others. This achievement is attributed to the UAE’s positive diplomatic efforts, which have significantly bolstered the strength of its passport, as noted by Arton Capital.
Securing the second position are several countries, including Germany, Spain, France, Italy, and the Netherlands, all boasting a mobility score enabling entry into 178 countries.
Following closely are Sweden, Finland, Luxembourg, Austria, and Switzerland, with the ability to enter 177 countries.
In contrast, Pakistan finds itself among the nations with less influential passports, holding the fifth-lowest position globally. With a mobility score of 47, the Pakistani passport grants visa-free entry to only 11 countries.
This ranking reflects the varying degrees of global travel freedom and underscores the diplomatic impact on a country’s passport strength.
