In a strategic move to enhance international relations and stimulate tourism, Turkey has made a noteworthy announcement, extending visa-free entry to citizens from six countries. The official announcement, issued through a decree by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and published in the Turkish Official Gazette, has taken immediate effect.

Visa-Free Access for Citizens of the Following Countries:

Last Friday, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan issued a decree extending visa exemption to citizens holding passports from the following countries:

  • UAE
  • Saudi Arabia
  • United States
  • Canada
  • Bahrain
  • Oman

Individuals from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the United States, Canada, Bahrain, and Oman can now enjoy a visa-free stay in Turkey for up to 90 days. This initiative is expected to streamline travel processes for citizens of these designated countries while also positively impacting Turkey’s tourism sector.

As of a decree issued by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on December 22, 2023, and subsequently published in the Turkish Official Gazette on December 23, citizens of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, the United States, Canada, Bahrain, and Oman can now enjoy a visa-free stay in Turkey for up to 90 days. This decision not only reflects Turkey’s commitment to enhancing diplomatic ties but also positions itself as a desirable destination for global travelers.

This move is anticipated to simplify travel procedures for citizens of the designated countries and contribute to Turkey’s thriving tourism industry. Renowned for its diverse landscapes and rich history, Turkey, also known as Türkiye, stands as a prominent and sought-after country in the Middle East, drawing visitors from around the globe
