Large-scale manufacturings ascents to 9.13 percent.

In January, the overall Large-scale manufacturing’s ascents to 9.13 percent.

The overall output of large-scale manufacturing industries [LSMI] has increased by 7.85 percent in the first seven months of the fiscal year 2021 [July 2020 to January 2021] compared to the same period last year. 

On Tuesday Pakistan’s Bureau Statistics [PBS] the LSMI output inflated by 9.13 for January 2021 compared to January 2020 and 5.36 percent over December 2020.

The Minister of Industries Hammad Azhar said on Twitter,

Large scale manufacturing has posted a growth of 9.1% in January.

The sustained and robust growth in industry is expected to lift economic growth beyond earlier forecasts InshAllah.

According to the research highlighted by the Topline Securities Twitter,

Second highest LSM Index Level

Pakistan Large Scale Manufacturing (LSM) index has touched its second highest level of 175.15 in Jan 2021. Previously index has touched high of 175.17 in Mar 2018.

In the first seven months of the fiscal year of 2021, the production as compared to the same time last year has inflated in several divisions comprised of Textile, Food, Beverages, Tobacco, Petroleum Products, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, Non-Metallic Mineral Products, Automobiles, and Fertilizers.

However, in the electronics and leather products departments, it has somewhat decreased.
