On 6 October Senior Chinese diplomat, Wang Yi stated that China and Pakistan are “all-weather strategic cooperative partners and ironclad brothers,” adding that the two countries relations have survived the test of time and have continued to maintain a healthy momentum of development in Beijing,

The third China Xizang Trans-Himalaya Forum for International Cooperation was held in Nyingchi, southwest China’s Xizang (Tibet) Autonomous Region, and Wang, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and director of the Office of the Central Commission for Foreign Affairs, made the comments when he met with Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani, according to CGTN.

Wang noted that the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), which was initiated by China, and the establishment of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), both of which were celebrated this year, mark their respective 10-year anniversaries. Wang stated that China is prepared to collaborate with Pakistan to advance the CPEC’s high-quality development.
Jilani, for his part, praised the positive outcomes of the CPEC and bilateral collaboration while reiterating that Pakistan’s foreign policy has always been built around its relations with China.

The foreign minister continued, “The CPEC has helped Pakistan transform its economic environment and brought real benefits to the nation.” He also expressed his greetings on the People’s Republic of China’s 74th anniversary of founding.
Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani attended the third China Tibet Trans-Himalayan Forum in Tibet, China, at the invitation of the Chinese government, according to Pakistan’s ambassador to China, Moin ul Haque.

The need for regional collaboration for eco-friendly development, ecological preservation, and connectivity for inclusive and sustainable development was stressed in his speech, according to a post made by Ambassador Haque on the social media site ‘X’.
