Due to Australia’s recent loss to the Proteas, Pakistan recovered its place as the top-ranked one-day international (ODI) team in the International Cricket Council (ICC) rankings on Sunday.

3102 points total According to the ICC rankings, Pakistan is the top-ranked ODI team. The Men in Green have a rating of 115 after 27 games.

India outscored Pakistan by the same 115 points, leaving Pakistan in second place. However, despite having played 41 matches, 14 more than Pakistan, and having more points (4,701) than Pakistan, the Men in Blue were unable to overtake them for first place. It should be remembered that the Green Shirts’ lead is only slight.

After losing against South Africa, Australia, who had held the top spot, is now ranked third overall with 3,166 points and a rating of 113. There have been 28 games for the Kangaroos.

Beginning on September 22, India and Australia will face off in a three-match series where they will once more have the chance to secure the top spot.

In Mohali, the opening game will take place. The final match will take contested on July 27 in Baroda, with the second game taking place on July 24 in Indore.

Pakistan, on the other side, will now participate in the World Cup straight. On October 6 in Hyderabad, they played their opening match of the season against the Netherlands.

It would be intriguing to watch how these countries perform in forthcoming games and the World Cup as they continue to compete for the top spot in ODI cricket. This rating rearrangement highlights the dynamic nature of international cricket.
