On Monday, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Police Sukkur Javed Jiskani confirmed sexual assault’ on Fatima, a minor maid who died in Ranipur’s Pir Haveli.

The problem was first brought to light when video recordings of Fatima’s body showing horrific torture marks went popular on social media. The critically injured child was seen in the video fighting to sit up on her bed before collapsing.

Javed Jiskani, DIG Sukkur division, stated that the medical report corroborated Fatima’s physical and sexual abuse. The top court further stated that DNA samples were gathered from residents of Ranipur Haveli and that the perpetrator who raped Fatima would be identified after the report.

According to the DIG Sukkur, two Haveli people are missing as a result of the event. He swore to bring the perpetrators to justice, regardless of how ‘strong’ they are.

Previously, police arrested Ali Hassan Wassan, the medical superintendent (MS) of the Ranipur Rural Health Centre, for assisting primary suspect Asad Shah and concealing information in the housemaid Fatima murder case.

The body of Fatima, a child maid, was excavated for post-mortem examination on Saturday, and body samples were obtained in the presence of medical board members and a Judicial Magistrate.

According to the initial post-mortem report, Fatima’s body was in the early stages of decomposition. “Her face was blue on one side and green on the other,” the report said.

“There were marks of torture on the body, including the eyes, waist, forehead, feet, knees, and hands.” “Some samples have been sent to the lab for microbiology tests,” according to the article.
