Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has stated that the Land Information Management System (LIMS) will provide employment for 40,000 individuals.
He stated that if the farmer became a victim of phony drugs, the country would suffer a significant loss.
Speaking at a national seminar on food security, the prime minister stated that the country is experiencing the second agricultural revolution since the 1960s, as agriculture is the backbone of the economy.
Farmers have been working day and night for agriculture, according to Shehbaz Sharif, and there is a need to offer resources to farmers for the development of the agriculture sector.
According to the Prime Minister, quoting Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Asim Munir, with the agricultural progress of the 1960s in the past, Pakistan surged ahead of many countries as it developed the Mangala and Tarbela dams, which resulted in an agricultural revolution.
It should be mentioned, according to Shehbaz Sharif, that the country produced a record amount of wheat this year.
“It is hoped that cotton production will also be better than before,” he added.
