Shaheen Afridi showcased his exceptional bowling skills in his opening over for Nottinghamshire against Birmingham in the T20 Blast on Friday. It was a truly remarkable performance as he claimed an impressive four wickets in just one over.

Although Afridi began the over with a slight hiccup, conceding five runs through a wide delivery, he quickly regained his momentum. With a stunning inswinging Yorker, he successfully trapped Alex Davies lbw, dismissing him from the field.

Continuing his brilliant form, Afridi proceeded to take another wicket on the very next ball, clean bowling Chris Benjamin. This outstanding feat put him on the verge of a hat-trick, further elevating the excitement of the match.

Shaheen Afridi’s memorable opening over not only demonstrated his exceptional skill as a bowler but also played a crucial role in Nottinghamshire’s defense of their total of 169 runs.
