Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will travel to Japan at the invitation of Japanese Foreign Minister Hayashi Yoshimasa, according to FO Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch.

Speaking to the media, the FO spokeswoman stated that the foreign minister will undertake serious talks with his counterpart, Minister Hayashi, in Tokyo.

The two presidents will talk about bilateral commerce and investment, science and technology collaboration, education, information technology, culture, and human resource development.

They will also discuss critical regional and global trends, as well as multilateral collaboration and dialogue, she added.

Japan is a vital development partner of Pakistan, and the foreign minister’s visit will almost certainly expand the relationship.

Tokyo maintains tight ties with Pakistan because it is an important development partner. Bhutto’s visit to Japan would contribute to the preservation of relations between Beijing and Tokyo.
