Javed Miandad, a former Pakistan cricketer, voiced his unhappiness with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for refusing to travel to Pakistan for the 2023 Asia Cup.

Miandad further said that Pakistan should respond by refusing to visit India for the 2023 World Cup. He vehemently defended Pakistan’s cricketing prowess, claiming that it is superior to India’s.

“If it were up to me, I’d simply refuse.” Right now, it is India’s turn. “We went there, and now India is supposed to come and play cricket in Pakistan,” Miandad told reporters in Karachi.

“If I were you, I would tell you to get lost.” We are superior to them. Our cricket is superior to theirs. We have adequate funds and land. “We are producing talents who are making their mark all over the world,” he added.

The former cricketer highlighted the importance of sports in fostering bridges across countries, emphasizing its unifying possibility. Miandad stated his displeasure with India’s behavior, specifically mentioning Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“Sports are something that brings people together. It is utilized to strengthen bilateral relations,” he explained.
