Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif urged authorities to take effective measures to ensure enhanced electricity supply throughout the summer season on Saturday.
The prime minister made these orders while speaking with Federal Minister for Power Division Engineer Khurram Dastagir, who had summoned him.
According to the PM Office Media Wing, the minister informed the prime minister on ongoing power sector development projects.
The prime minister also requested that new power transmission lines be completed as soon as possible to offer consumers as much relief as feasible.
