The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has arrived in Turkey to demonstrate its combat capability and agility during the Anatolian Eagle 2023 air exercise.

The PAF contingent included F-16 fighter jets, which are expected to thunder above central Turkey during the exercise.

The Pakistan Air Force claimed in a statement that a “Pakistan Air Force contingent, consisting of F-16 fighter jets, air, and ground crews, arrived at the 3rd Main Jet Base in Konya, Turkey, to participate in the Anatolian Eagle 2023 exercise.”

The next exercise, which simulates a genuine aerial war, has been described as one of the largest and most difficult combined air force drills in the world by an Air Force spokesperson. Anatolian Eagle 2023 intends to improve interoperability among participating nations while also allowing for shared learning.

With their planes, Azerbaijan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom participate in the sixth straight edition of the exercise.

While the Pakistan contingent is utilising F-16s to demonstrate competence and a heritage of professionalism, the UAE Force is participating with F-16 Block 60 aircraft, the only ones of their kind. The Saudi Arabian Air Force will send F-15SAs, and the Royal Air Force will send Eurofighter Typhoon fighters.
