Pakistan, China decide to give impetus to their bilateral cooperation under CPEC

In order to advance their bilateral cooperation, Pakistan and China have chosen to implement the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project.

The agreement was struck today in Beijing at a meeting between Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal and Minister of the Communist Party of China’s International Department Liu Jianchao.

Ahsan Iqbal reaffirmed that Pakistan has strong political support for its friendship and strategic engagement with China.

He praised Chinese President Xi Jinping’s vision for implementing programs like the Belt and Road, Global Development, Security, and Civilisation Initiatives, all of which are helping to build a more tranquil and harmonious world.

Liu Jianchao stated that Pakistan and China have an unmatched iron brother friendship at the time.
