Shaheen Afridi, the captain of Lahore Qalandars, blames their loss to “Qurat ka Nizam” in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) first playoff game versus Multan Sultans at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Shaheen said that he understands the value of a run-out and a clean catch that can instantly alter the course of the game and that early wickets put pressure on lower-middle-order hitters. The Qalandars’ captain wants to analyze their mistakes before Friday’s second elimination round.

“We lost wickets rapidly, and since we still have a chance, we’ll analyze what went wrong and be ready for the next game. There is pressure on the lower-order batters when the primary batters are struck out early “explained he.

We’ll work on it. A good catch or run-out can win you a game. The wind began to blow, it is Qudrat ka Nizam, and Cottrell managed to get the ball to swing. In the post-game conversation, Shaheen Afridi stated, “This is Qudrat ka, Nizam.

Shaheen Afridi had a difficult day on the field as he went without picking up a wicket during his spell and allowed 47 runs to be scored against Multan Sultans in a key Qualifier.

In contrast, Multan Sultans faced a strong Lahore Qalandars bowling lineup and managed to produce a difficult total of 160/5. The score appeared respectable but not insurmountable.

However, the Qalandars had an epic batting collapse and were bundled out for just 76, which is the lowest-ever total in PSL 8 and the third-lowest total in the tournament’s history. They previously made 59 versus Peshawar Zalmi in 2017 and folded on 73 against Multan in 2021.
