Sab Sitaray Humaray, the anthem for the eagerly anticipated eighth season of the Pakistan Super League, was released by the Pakistan Cricket Board on Saturday.
The song, which is being praised as the largest musical anthem of the year, was co-written by the top personalities in Pakistani music in an effort to make something beautiful.
Young musician Abdullah Siddiqui wrote the tune, which also contains outstanding musicians like Shae Gill from Coke Studio, Asim Azhar, and rapper Faris Shafi.
Siddiqui created the PSL anthem for the second year in a row after co-writing the “Agay Dekh” anthem for PSL 7 with Atif Aslam and Aima Baig.
Asim then enters the song once Gill’s vocals are finished. Faris gave the anthem a rap flavor. Azhar, Shafi, Ali, Raamis, and Siddique wrote the lyrics.
Prior to the PSL 8 tournament’s inaugural match between Multan Sultans and the reigning champions Lahore Qalandars on February 13, the opening ceremony will take place in Multan. The final will be contested on March 19 in Lahore.
Lahore Qalandars will try to become the first team to win consecutive championships, while Islamabad United will try to make history by winning the trophy three times.
Eleven games will be played in Rawalpindi, nine games each in Karachi and Lahore, and five games in Multan.
The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is a professional Twenty20 cricket league in Pakistan. It was founded in 2015 and is organized by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The league’s first season was held in 2016 and featured five teams representing different cities in Pakistan. Since then, the league has grown in popularity and has expanded to six teams.
