Qatar resumes visa-free entry for over 95 countries including Pakistan

The government of Qatar has returned back to the policy of visa-free entry after the FIFA World Cup ended, prompting travelers to make fresh plans.

According to a recent announcement, citizens of more than 95 nations, including Pakistan, are eligible for visa-free entry into the State of Qatar with various stay durations based on the country of origin.

The visa is valid for 180 days from the date of issuance for citizens of the nations listed below, and those who receive the visa may stay in Qatar for up to 90 days, either during a single trip or over the course of several journeys.

  • Bahamas
  • Belgium
  • Bulgaria
  • Croatia
  • Cyprus
  • Czech Republic
  • Denmark
  • Dominican Republic
  • Estonia
  • Finland
  • France
  • Germany
  • Greece
  • Holland
  • Hungary
  • Iceland
  • Italy
  • Latvia
  • Liechtenstein
  • Lithuania
  • Luxembourg
  • Malaysia
  • Malta
  • Netherlands
  • Norway
  • Poland
  • Portugal
  • Romania
  • Serbia
  • Seychelles
  • Slovakia
  • Slovenia
  • Spain
  • Sweden
  • Switzerland
  • Turkey.
  • Ukraine

As far as the nationals of the countries/regions listed below (including Pakistan), the waiver will be valid for 30 days from the date of issuance and those who secure the visa can spend up to 30 days in Qatar.

Instructions for Pakistan

Nationals of Pakistan can enter Qatar visa-free and spend up to 30 days in Qatar during single or multiple trips with an option to extend the stay for another 30 days if the following terms and conditions are met:

  • The validity of the passport must last at least six months.
  • A confirmed return ticket is required.
  • For the duration of the visit, hotel reservations are made via Discover Qatar If you are traveling directly from Pakistan, certification of polio vaccine is required.

Regarding COVID restrictions, quarantine is no longer required for all visitors arriving from abroad; however, those who test positive for COVID-19 after arriving in Qatar are instructed to follow the State of Qatar’s protocols and go through self-isolation measures.
