In order to assist educational institutions in utilising contemporary technology during the teaching and learning process, Microsoft Pakistan and the Higher Education Commission (HEC) inked an Education Transformation Agreement (ETA) last year. With a grand introduction and the announcement of 100,000 free Technology skills certificates for university students all throughout Pakistan, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Microsoft have extended the Education Transformation Agreement (ETA) in Pakistan.

Microsoft and HEC worked together to reimagine the educational landscape, empower the following generation of students, and close the knowledge-to-employment gap. Through knowledge transfer workshops and training on cutting-edge Microsoft technologies like Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Azure, the partnership is meant to ensure that Microsoft will be offering several services to all higher educational institutions (HEIs) in leveraging new technologies to make learning inclusive, personalized, and student-centric.

Rana Tanveer, the Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training attended the event as the principal guest. Jibran Jamshed, the Country Lead for Jordan, Lebanon, and Pakistan, and Prof. Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, the Chairman of the Higher Education Commission, both spoke at the event’s opening.
