Mohammad Hafeez, a former captain and all-around player for Pakistan, has performed Umrah with his family.
Hafeez, also known as “the professor,” posted photos of his family at the holiest shrine in Islam on social media.
“Alham du Lillah blessed to perform Umrah with family. May Allah accept it Aameen. May Allah bless all Muslims to visit once in life to the most beautiful & blessed place on earth,” he wrote.
Hafeez and his son can be seen wearing Ahram while making the Islamic pilgrimage, while his daughters are wearing Hijab.
Early this year, Hafeez announced his departure from the world of international cricket, bringing an end to an 18-year career.
However, the renowned batter will participate in the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2022 in domestic cricket.
