LC – Lahore Court, As the news revolved around the internet and outrage was sparked among the netizens that Singer Bilal Saeed along with his production team and actor Saba Qamar shooted a song in Lahore’s Wazir Khan Mosque. The petitioners demanded action against the singer and the actor for violating the sanctity of the Mosque.
Advocate Sardar Farhat Manzoor Khan filed the petition and applied for registration of FIR to the Akbari Gate SHO against the culprits who neglected the sanctity of the mosque. He asked the court to order the police to file a case against the persons involved in this immoral act. Not only the singer and the production house, but the action is also demanded against the officials of the Auqaf Department who permitted the act.
On the behalf of the actors and the Auqaf Department, lawyers opposed the petition saying that no offense had been committed and Chief Minister had already taken the notice regarding the case and ordered an inquiry. Also, the apologies by the main persons on various platforms had been brought into the notice. After all these arguments regarding the matter, Additional District and Sessions Judge Attiqur Rehman of LC, Lahore Court directed the SHO to decide the application and proceed with the legal action if any offense was made out.
