In an effort to cut down on the amount of time customers must spend driving to find gas stations, Pakistani oil marketing giant Gas & Oil Pakistan Ltd. (GO) on Wednesday announced plans to introduce mobile fuel stations across the country.

To bring the industry innovation to Pakistan, GO has teamed with ENOC Link, the mobile fuel delivery division of the Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC).

On Wednesday, a group from ENOC Link visited Chairman OGRA, Member Oil, DG Explosives, and DG Oil to introduce the goLink station concept and begin the regulatory approval process. They were accompanied by the CEO of GO, Zeeshan Tayyeb.

The mobile stations are expected to start operations within 2022 once the regulatory approval process is completed, GO said.

The oil marketing firm stated in a statement that “the goLink Station is a mobile gasoline station format that will enable for motorists simple access and convenient fueling services in their immediate vicinity.” Due to its ability to be installed on paved or existing parking lots, it is intended to significantly reduce the amount of time that customers must drive to find a petrol station.

GoLink stations would significantly lower the cost of providing essential fueling infrastructure in Pakistan, according to GO CEO Zeeshan Tayyeb, because they would require less space and require a much lower initial investment. “Each mobile station saves approximately 500,000 liters of fuel for motorists along with 1,200 MTs of reduced carbon emissions every year,” he added.

Therefore, it is perfectly suited to supply remote/seasonally busy places with much-needed motor fuels as well as residential, commercial, and business areas. For the gensets running in Pakistan, the goLink Station can offer a secure and practical means of refuelling, according to Tayyeb.

ENOC Group owns and operates ENOC Link, the digital mobile fuel delivery service in the UAE, created in 2019 as part of ‘Next,’ the Group’s digital accelerator program. ENOC Link also runs uniquely designed eLink stations, a mobile fueling format that enables motorists and customers easy access and convenient fueling services. It does not require assembly, can easily move to a different location on the spot and is also equipped with innovative digital systems.

“GO’s goLink Stations will be equipped with various tank sizes with the ability to fuel up to four vehicles simultaneously, thereby cutting down on waiting time,” the oil marketing company’s statement said. “The mobile station uses the latest international design and safety standards and complies with standard fueling regulations for petrol pumps and fuel distribution trucking.”

Additionally, the goLink Stations feature cutting-edge digital technology like digital payment methods and give users access to the GO Card loyalty program.

GoLink Stations will provide customers with a reliable supply of GORON 92, GORON ULTRA 95, and GO Diesel fuels, subject to regulatory permissions.
