On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Pakistan Railways has announced a 30 percent discount on train fares to facilitate passengers.
A notification issued here stated that the reduction in fares will apply to all passenger trains during the three days of Eid-ul-Azha.
The Pakistan Railways department has announced that it will be operating three special trains on multiple routes before Eid-ul-Azha. In addition, the department has also started taking bookings for Eid at discounted fares.
A spokesperson for the railway announced that the first special train will leave at 10 am on July 8th, destined for Peshawar via Multan, Sahiwal, and Lahore. The second special train of the day will depart at 6:45 pm from Karachi bound for Lahore via Multan and Faisalabad.
