The Federal Minister for Railways and Aviation, Khawaja Saad Rafique, has stated that the Federal government will be working with the Sindh government in order to ensure the early completion of the Karachi Circular Railway project.
This was stated during a meeting with the Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Murad Ali Shah, in Karachi on Friday. A committee has been formed in order to move the KCR project forward.
The projects of BRT red line, Thar Coal connectivity to the railways line, KCR and other issues were discussed during the meeting.
The meeting came to an agreement to expedite the KCR project under CPEC.
