According to Radio Pakistan, Joint Secretary Hajj Usman Saroush Alvi indicated that Hajj applications will be accepted by Friday (May 13).

According to him, the Hajj application must be accompanied by a passport, health certificate, Saudi-approved vaccine certificate, and the token amount.

Saudi Arabia has not yet disclosed information on obligatory Hajj expenses, according to the secretary, and full Hajj expenses would be announced only once Riyadh releases them.

It should be remembered that after allowing one million individuals to attend the holy pilgrimage this year, Saudi Arabia has granted Pakistan the second-highest quota of Hajj pilgrims.

Indonesia has received the biggest number of Hajj pilgrims from Saudi Arabia, followed by Pakistan. In 2022, up to 81,132 pilgrims would be eligible to visit the Kingdom to conduct Hajj.

Following the relaxation of COVID rules, Saudi Arabia has declared that 1 million pilgrims will be welcomed for Hajj this year.
