The Senate today (Monday) passed “the Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues (Amendment) Bill, 2021.”

The government aimed this bill at requiring the National Database and Registration Authority to display the consent of potential donor on the National ID. So that It is easy to identify and apt management of transplantation of organs and tissues.

Transplantation is the only option to save lives in patients with terminal organ failures and improve quality of life. The results of organ transplantation may be improved by prompt and timely verification and identification of donor after death.

Aside Transplantation of human organs bill, government also introduced 6 bills in the House.

This include; “The Limited Liability Partnership (Amendment) Bill, 2022”. Also. “ The Payment of Wages (Amendment) Bill, 2022” and “ The Control of Narcotic Substances (Amendment) Bill, 2022”. It also includes “ The Constitution (Amendment) Bill, 2022” and “ The Access of Media (Deaf and Dumb) Persons Bill, 2022”. Lastly, It included “ The Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2022.

Minister Ali Muhammad Khan says that state persecution has become order of day in India under Modi.

He was winding up discussion on the motion moved by the House Leader Dr Shehazad on the recent incident of hackling of a Muslim girl wearing hijab by RSS backed mob in the Indian State of Karnataka.

The Minister of State said hooliganism of Hindu extremists is a sheer violation of human rights.

Condemning barring Muskaan Khan from exercising her right to freedom of religion, Ali Muhammad Khan urged the international community to ask when the President and the Prime Minister offices of India will issue a condemnation of the barbaric act against an innocent girl in Karnataka.

Earlier, the lawmakers drew attention of the world community toward the grave human rights situation in India, especially religious freedom.
