The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is planning to make the season 7 of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) more special for fans by providing them free WiFi inside the stadiums.

In a video statement, PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja stated that the fans’ experience must be improved and that the board is working to offer free internet access at the stadium for the attendees.

Ramiz Raja claimed that they will install various stations outside the ground to provide internet to the fans so they can share their experiences and views with the world through social media, in an instance from the stadium.

Some of the stations would be to give out a more immersive experience to the fans. In one of these stations, according to Ramiz Raja, he will test and rate the commentary potential of participating fans.

In the video, he even lauded the team performance of Pakistan in Bangladesh and praised the professionalism of Babar Azam as a captain.

Pakistan’s biggest star and former all-rounder Shahid Afridi has joined Quetta Gladiators for the seventh edition of the tournament after representing Multan Sultans in the last one. Season 7 of PSL will be his last season as a player in the Pakistan Super League.

Earlier this year, Afridi had expressed his wish to play for Gladiators, besides revealing that the next PSL would be his final game.

In a video posted by Quetta Gladiators, Shahid Afridi reveals his happiness to join Quetta Gladiators for his last PSL season, and he hoped that the fans would support his new team in the tournament.

England’s James Vince will also move to the Gladiators from Sultans. While Azam Khan from Quetta Gladiators has been transferred to Islamabad United.
