Following the September 14 announcement of the new iPhone 13, Apple has phased out some of its older iPhone models.

Apple introduced the iPhone 13 with an updated iPad, a revised iPad mini, and a refresh to the Apple Watch. The latest iPhones include an A15 Bionic engine, a longer battery life, and a better camera intended for cinematic movies, among other improvements.

Preorders for the iPhone 13 will begin on September 17, and the gadget will be available for purchase on September 24. Despite the fact that Apple consumers now have numerous new phones to pick from, visitors to Apple’s online shop can no longer purchase certain models from the previous year.

After the iPhone 13 launch event, Apple withdrew the iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, and iPhone XR from its online shop. These devices join the iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 8, and iPhone 8 Plus, all of which were phased out last year.

Although Apple no longer offers these older iPhones through its online shop, they may still be available from some phone carriers or third-party sellers.

iPhone versions that are currently on the market

The following iPhone models are now available for purchase or preorder on the Apple store:

iPhone 13 Pro Max
iPhone 13 Pro
iPhone 13
iPhone 13 mini
iPhone 12
iPhone 12 mini
iPhone SE
iPhone 11

The new iPhone 13 models range in price from $700 to $1,100, but there are more affordable alternatives if you buy iPhones from a previous generation.

The iPhone SE, for example, starts at $400, while the iPhone 11 starts at $500. Customers who buy an iPhone 11 from Best Buy with a new Verizon account or line activation may get the smartphone for $150 off.
