Samsung’s Galaxy S series phones are available with a variety of chipsets tailored to specific countries. They are powered by either Samsung’s Exynos processors or Qualcomm’s Snapdragon SoCs, however, the Snapdragon variants are typically found in fewer locations.

This might change with the Galaxy S22 series, according to a recent rumor from Korean media, which indicates that Samsung is eager to increase the availability of Snapdragon phones. The study provides a list of geographies as well as the chipsets that will be available in those markets.

If the story is correct, the Snapdragon version of the Galaxy S22 may become available in more countries across the world.

According to the list, the Exynos version of the Galaxy S22 will be available in Europe. The Snapdragon versions will be available in North America, as well as Hong Kong and Korea. China is “likely” to receive Snapdragon versions, but China Telecom desires the Exynos model and is attempting to bargain for it.

Snapdragon will “most likely” be available in Southeast Asia and India, whereas Exynos will be available in South America and other countries.

Because the Exynos 2200 chipset had a restricted initial output, Samsung’s Wireless Business Department is allegedly under pressure to cut orders. This is most likely one of the reasons why Qualcomm chipsets will be seen in more devices this time around.

Many people will be relieved to hear this because Snapdragon processors have consistently beaten Exynos chips in Samsung devices. In the long term, Snapdragon chips have been shown to provide superior thermals and somewhat improved results.
