Compaq used to be one of the best three workstations brands on the planet back in 2002 and surprisingly matched IBM during the 90s. A long time later, in any case, the brand was obsolete and ceased by HP and was gone forever on the lookout.

Apparently, Compaq is going to be restored soon as the brand has alluded to a rebound on Twitter. The tweet was shared by a recently made record that is called ComaqReboot and it just has two posts up until this point. The most recent tweet says that the brand is returning in Q1, 2022.

It is unclear whether the brand has been reacquired by HP. This is on the grounds that an alternate organization called Grupo Newsan obtained the brand permit in 2015, however, deserted it a couple of years after the fact. The Twitter account displayed above starts from Anaheim, California and there is plenty of tech organizations in that area. So there is a saying who possesses the brand this time around.

Compaq used to make a budget-friendly PC back in the day, however, there’s a lack of certainty whether it will continue with that pattern in 2022. The brand will confront firm contests as there are a few new players in the market including Xiaomi, Huawei, Honor, Realme, and a few others. Different brands, for example, Acer, Lenovo, and Asus have additionally fundamentally increased their game.
