Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection, Dr Sania Nishtar said on Saturday that One Window Ehsaas policy will ensure delivery of services to marginalized segments of society through a single window and a one-stop shop.
“The overarching Ehsaas strategy stipulates the creation of one-window Ehsaas policy to enable delivery of multiple Ehsaas programmes through a single window.
The policy entails six sets of actions, a one stop shop, the Ehsaas physical centre, back office digital interface, a public facing digital information and services platform, a mobile app, an integrated database and, the Ehsaas one-window beneficiary selection and targeting policy,” she said in a statement.
According to the statement, collectively, the six pillars of one window policy will increase cohesiveness and coordination across the different programmes offered by different implementing organizations and will improve beneficiary experience.
