Hunarmand Pakistan an initiative of the PTI government has trained almost 17,000 youth and sent to the market after finishing the training in demand-driven high-tech trades.

This was confirmed by officials from the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) during a meeting held here on Friday to brief Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood on the progress of the “Hunarmand Pakistan Program.”

As per officials, 30,000 students are being trained in the most demanding sectors of high-tech trades. Shafqat Mahmood applauded NAVTTC’s achievement in training 17,000 students amid extreme difficulties caused by Covid-19. “We have not only qualified these students for respectable jobs, but they will also play a critical role in the development of the country.”

Furthermore, NAVTTC officials announced that 50,000 students had registered for the second badge of training, which began on April 12, 2021.
