The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released its latest T20I and ODI rankings, revealing that no Pakistani batter or bowler has made it into the top 10 of the T20I standings.
In the T20I batting category, former Pakistan captain Babar Azam slipped to the 18th position, while India’s rising star Abhishek Sharma retained his number one spot. Australia’s Tim David entered the top 10 after an explosive performance against South Africa in the recent T20I series.
For T20I bowling, New Zealand’s Jacob Duffy maintained his number one ranking. Pakistani pacer Haris Rauf ranked 24th, while Josh Hazelwood of Australia moved up to 20th. None of Pakistan’s bowlers made it to the top 10. In the T20I all-rounder rankings, India’s Hardik Pandya held on to the top position.
In ODI rankings, India’s Shubman Gill continued as the top-ranked batter, followed by Babar Azam in third place. Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan stood at 23rd, while Saim Ayub was ranked 46th. In ODI bowling, Sri Lanka’s Maheesh Theekshana retained his number one spot. Pakistan’s Shaheen Shah Afridi climbed to 13th place, while leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed held the 54th spot.
West Indies spinner Gudakesh Motie moved up to 12th, and pacer Jayden Seales rose to 33rd after strong performances against Pakistan. In ODI all-rounders, Afghanistan’s Azmatullah Omerzai claimed the number one position.
